No, you don't have to purchase your marker from us. However, the cemetery has marker requirements that must be met regardless of where you obtain your marker. We reserve the right to set (install) all grave markers. For more information, please contact the cemetery office.
Flowers can be placed beginning April 15th. On occasion, this date can be pushed back due to weather. You can contact the cemetery office with any questions regarding the date and any changes.
The cemetery needs time in the late winter/early spring to prepare the grounds for the season. The cemetery is not responsible for damaged vases unless we cause the damage.
No, you aren't required to purchase from us. Our guidelines regarding placement, removal dates, and placement requirements will need to be followed.
We do offer a flower placement program (Spring-Autumn) and a wreath placement program (Winter) available to you.
Extra decorations are allowed from Memorial Day through Father's Day on the grave markers or in line with the grave markers. Extra decorations outside the marker rows will be removed. All decorations must be removed by June 30th.
For fresh flowers, place them on the marker. Plastic or silk flower stems can be placed in the ground to the left or right of the marker. Pre-made bouquets with a plastic vase can be placed in a flower stand, which you can bring or purchase from the cemetery. All flower placements need to follow cemetery guidelines and be in line with the markers.
Flowers must be removed by October 31st.
Vases are turned down in the winter to prevent damage from freezing and to allow us to continue with burials year-round. They are turned down on November 1 and are turned up in April. Any vases found up between those dates will be turned down and the contents removed.
The cemetery is not responsible for damaged vases unless we cause the damage. Bronze vases are expensive to replace, and many people don't have the funds readily available. To protect the vases from undue harm and prevent unforeseen expenses for families, they are turned down on November 1st. Any vase found turned up after November 1st through March 31st will be turned down and its contents removed.
We do not allow grave blankets to best facilitate winter burials. This way we avoid destroying someone's remembrance.
Wreaths must be removed by March 15th, weather permitting. You can contact the cemetery office with any questions regarding the date and any changes.
We sell emblems for markers, flower bouquets and stands, grave markers, military flag holders, monugrid foundations for markers, vase assemblies, and winter wreaths.
Monugrid is a grid and stone foundation system that helps keep grave markers from sinking. This foundation system is installed beneath all new markers in the cemetery.
You do not have to purchase Monugrid for existing markers. However, all new markers will have the Monugrid foundation system installed is included in the setting/installation fee of all new markers.
